There’s only two ways to get faster:
Increase stride length
Increase stride frequency
Both of those however, are BYPRODUCTS of sprinting faster.
For example you can’t just TELL an athlete to take bigger strides, because if they’re not physically capable of increasing their stride length, they’ll end up overstriding and actually be slower.
In order to improve speed then, it comes down to 3 things:
Apply more mass specific force into the ground
In the proper bio-mechanical positions
In ever decreasing increments of time
Speed is a skill, it can be trained!
